sequenza teatrale è trasformata in “fragile essenza
Haiku
A dance for a character in a field
A character moves in a painting with a large tree in its centre,
horizontally controlled and pulled, by sight, by an entanglement
of threads, it moves dancing on the horizon.
On the wide background we see a film with signs and softened shadows,
charcoal drawn or with lively colours that constantly transform
the scene. During this slow landscape transformation we watch
the silent relationship between the person moving the puppet and
the character lightly skimming the ground.
The play is inspired by the Japanese Haiku, the smallest existing
form of poetry. Nothing wants to be described, and each theatrical
sequence is turned into a “fragile essence of apparition”.
It might be a challenge to the dramaturgical construction for
the achievement of an arrangement closer to the pictorial production.
